To all 2024 Job Applicants,

Thank you for your interest in working at The Ice Cream Barn! We accept applications on an ongoing basis throughout our season, regardless of whether or not we need to hire at the time an application is turned in. We do not typically announce when we will be hiring, rather, when the need arises to hire a new employee, we will assess our current employment needs, and choose the applicants that seem to best meet those needs from the job applications that we’ve received throughout the season. We will call these applicants in for interviews, and only after the interviews will certain applicants become employees of The Ice Cream Barn.

Please take some time to fill out this job application and answer the questions on it thoroughly. We will make decisions on which applicants to interview based upon the information on these applications. Please note that we often receive over 10 applications for every job opening that arises. The way you fill out your application matters. It is how you can make yourself stand out for the chance to get brought in for an interview if a job opening does become available. No extra consideration will be given to applicants that follow up on their applications after they’ve turned them in. All consideration will be given to the content of each application, as well as our assessment of how each applicant meets the specific needs of each job opening that becomes available. All applications will be discarded at the end of the 2024 season. If you don’t get hired this year, and wish to reapply for a job in 2025, please do! We have hired people in the past who have reapplied.
